Who we are
Timbo started with a simple observation: Australian and New Zealand flooring businesses want beautiful European oak parquet, but importing it themselves means container minimums, long lead times and compliance paperwork. Timbo carries that load. We bring in Prime grade European solid oak, hold stock in our Melbourne warehouse, and supply it to flooring professionals who sell and install it.
Over time we added the other thing small and mid-sized flooring businesses told us they needed: marketing help. Partners get product content, specifications and imagery they can use, and a listing in our partner directory so homeowners who find Timbo online are sent to them.
What we supply
- Herringbone parquet – solid oak blocks laid in the classic staggered zigzag. Standard 710 × 123 × 18mm and large 820 × 123 × 18mm.
- Chevron parquet – blocks with angled ends that meet in a continuous V.
- Pattern parquet – feature layouts for statement rooms.
- Solid oak floorboards – the full solid oak range.
Every Timbo product is Prime grade: the cleanest, most uniform appearance class of European oak, with minimal knots and even colour. Read how oak flooring grades work.
Lighting
Alongside our floors, Timbo supplies indoor lighting – chandeliers from 3 to 10 lights and crystal wall lights – and outdoor lighting – vintage-style aluminium and glass wall lanterns, hanging lanterns and post lights. Partners can source the floor and the lighting for a project from one supplier. See all lighting.
How we work
- We supply only the trade. That means we never compete with our partners on price or for customers.
- We support partners with marketing. Content, samples and enquiries from our website go to partners.
- Partners sell and install. They know their local market, their trades and their clients.

Why European oak
European oak is one of the most stable and versatile flooring timbers in the world. It has a moderate hardness (similar to Tasmanian oak), takes almost any finish, and its calm grain suits both contemporary and classic interiors. Compare it with local species in European oak vs spotted gum and our Janka hardness chart.
