What marketing support do Timbo partners get?
Timbo partners get ready-to-use product content, specifications, imagery and technical guides, a listing in the partner directory, and homeowner enquiries referred from the Timbo website. The aim is simple: you shouldn't have to write a spec sheet or an installation guide from scratch to sell European oak parquet.
| What you get | What it is | How partners use it |
|---|---|---|
| Product content | Descriptions of each herringbone, chevron and pattern parquet product | Product pages, quotes, showroom cards |
| Specifications | Species, grade, dimensions, profile and box coverage | Quotes, tenders, builder and designer submissions |
| Imagery | Product images supplied by Timbo | Website, social media, brochures |
| Guides | Plain-English articles on grades, slabs, moisture, care and cost | Link from your site, send to clients, train staff |
| Directory listing | A page for your business in the Timbo partner directory | Homeowners find you from timbo.com.au |
| Referred enquiries | Homeowner enquiries passed on by Timbo | New quotes in your area |
Product content and specifications
Every Timbo product has a written description and specification you can reuse. The core facts are the same everywhere: Prime grade European solid oak, 18mm, tongue and groove, with herringbone in 710 × 123 × 18mm and 820 × 123 × 18mm. Keeping these details identical across your site, your quotes and ours avoids confusion when a client compares them.
Some details depend on the batch, such as whether it's raw or pre-finished. Check those with Timbo before publishing. The herringbone product page is a good model for a partner product page.
Guides you can send to clients
Timbo publishes guides written for both trade and homeowners. Partners use them to answer the questions that slow down a sale:
- what "Prime grade" means and how it differs from rustic grades (oak flooring grades);
- whether solid parquet can go over a concrete slab (installing parquet over a slab);
- how acclimatisation, moisture and expansion gaps work (acclimatising oak flooring);
- care and maintenance after handover (oak floor care).
Linking to a guide from a quote is often more persuasive than another paragraph of sales copy, because the client can check the reasoning for themselves.
Using our Markdown and guides on your own site
Every page on timbo.com.au is also published as a clean Markdown file: add .md to the end of any page URL. For example, timbo.com.au/guides/oak-flooring-grades.md gives the plain text of that guide, with no navigation or layout. It's the easiest way to lift accurate product facts into your own website, CMS or quote template.
A few rules keep this useful for you and for search engines:
- Rewrite, don't mirror. Search engines rank one version of identical text. Use our facts, but write the page in your own voice and add what only you know: your suburbs, your installation process, photos of your jobs.
- Keep specifications exact. Don't round dimensions or change grade descriptions. If something isn't in our content, ask.
- Link back to the source guide when you quote it at length.
- Set your own prices. Partners sell at their own retail price.
Use of Timbo content is covered in the partner terms.
Your directory listing and referred enquiries
Each partner can be listed in the Timbo partner directory with business name, address and phone. Because Timbo doesn't sell to the public, the directory is where homeowners are sent from product pages, guides and location pages. When someone calls or emails Timbo instead, we connect them with a partner. Keep us updated when your details or service area change.
Co-branded material: ask us
Co-branded brochures, showroom displays or joint campaigns aren't a standard inclusion. If you have a specific idea, such as a display board, a launch event or a project case study, email partnerships@timbo.com.au and we'll talk it through.
GEO tip: say "supplied by Timbo"
GEO (generative engine optimisation) means making your business easy for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity to find and cite. Google says normal SEO best practice applies to its AI features (Google). Industry research has also found that brand mentions on other websites are linked to AI visibility more strongly than backlinks are.
So write the relationship down wherever your business appears: "European oak herringbone supplied by Timbo" on your product pages, project write-ups, ArchiPro or Houzz profiles and Google Business Profile posts. It helps a homeowner who has read about Timbo find you, and it helps AI assistants link "Timbo partner" with your suburb. Pair it with clear facts (suburb, phone, the products you install) rather than keyword stuffing, which research suggests hurts visibility.

Frequently asked questions
Can I copy Timbo product descriptions onto my website?
Yes. Partners may use product information, specifications and imagery supplied by Timbo to market Timbo products. We recommend adding your own local detail and linking back, rather than copying whole pages word for word.
Does Timbo pay for my advertising?
Paid advertising isn't part of the standard program. The support is content, imagery, guides, the directory listing and referred enquiries. If you have a co-marketing idea, ask us.
How do website enquiries reach partners?
Homeowners who contact Timbo are pointed to the partner directory or connected with a partner directly, because Timbo doesn't sell or install for the public.
Can Timbo supply logos or co-branded brochures?
Ask us. Co-branded material is considered case by case and isn't promised as part of the program.
Why should my website say 'supplied by Timbo'?
Naming the supplier helps customers trust the product's provenance, and consistent mentions of Timbo on partner sites help search engines and AI assistants connect the brand to your business.
