Floors and lighting. Timbo partners can sell Prime grade European oak floorboards and indoor and outdoor lighting – see lighting for retailers and electricians.
What is the Timbo partner program?
The Timbo partner program is a trade account for flooring businesses that want to sell Prime grade European solid oak parquet without importing it themselves. Timbo supplies the stock from Melbourne and does the marketing work. Partners handle the customer, the quote and the installation.
A flooring supplier in this sense is a wholesale business that sells to the trade (retailers, installers, builders and specifiers), not to the public. Timbo works this way on purpose. We don't compete with our partners for homeowner jobs, and we don't run a retail showroom.
| Timbo does | The partner does | |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Sources and stocks Prime grade European solid oak herringbone, chevron and pattern parquet in Melbourne | Chooses products for each project, holds samples |
| Marketing | Writes product content, specifications, guides and imagery. Runs the website and partner directory | Uses the content on their own website, socials and quotes |
| Sales | Refers homeowner and project enquiries from the website | Quotes and sells to the end customer at their own price |
| Installation | Publishes technical guides | Installs, sands and finishes (or uses their own installers) |
| Logistics | Dispatches from Altona North, arranges freight quotes | Receives, inspects and stores stock on site |

What Timbo supplies
Timbo's range is deliberately narrow: 18mm solid European oak in Prime grade, in the parquet patterns Australian and New Zealand clients ask for most.
- Solid Oak Herringbone Parquet in 710 × 123 × 18mm (standard) and 820 × 123 × 18mm (large), tongue and groove, natural brown. A box of the 710mm size holds 16 panels, about 1.4 m². See the herringbone collection.
- Solid Oak Chevron Parquet, 18mm solid, laid as a continuous V.
- Pattern parquet, including the Hybrid Oak Timeless Pattern Parquet (15mm patterned oak squares, 450 × 450mm and 800 × 800mm).
Whether a given batch is raw (unfinished) or pre-finished, and the box coverage for the 820mm size, are confirmed by Timbo when you order.
Why the timing works
Building activity is picking up in the markets Timbo supplies. Victorian dwelling approvals rose 8.9% in August 2026, and Australian approvals were up 10.3% year on year (ABS). The value of alterations and additions approvals rose 14.0% (HIA). In New Zealand, 41,268 new homes were consented in the year to August 2026, up 21% (Stats NZ).
Retail is under more pressure. Australian floor covering retailing is about A$3.7 billion a year, has shrunk about 3.1% a year over five years, and is shared among 2,049 businesses (IBISWorld). A premium, well-documented product with no container commitment is one way to stand out in that market without adding much risk.
Partner types and program guides
The program works the same way for everyone. What changes is how you use it: a showroom holds samples and quotes walk-in customers, an installer runs supply-and-install jobs, a builder needs dependable supply for a programme, and a designer needs specification data. Pick the guide that fits your business.
How to join
Joining takes four steps. The full process, from application to first delivery, is in how it works.

Frequently asked questions
What does a flooring supplier partner program actually involve?
With Timbo it means a trade account plus support. You get wholesale pricing on Prime grade European oak parquet, free samples, product content and a listing in our partner directory. In return you quote, sell and install for your own customers. There's no fee and no exclusivity.
Who can become a Timbo flooring partner?
Flooring retailers and showrooms, flooring installers and contractors, builders, developers, interior designers and architects in Australia and New Zealand can apply. Each partner type has its own page in the program guides below.
Does Timbo sell floorboards to homeowners?
No. Timbo is a trade supplier only. Homeowners are pointed to a partner through our partner directory, and enquiries that come in through the website are passed to partners.
Can I keep selling other flooring brands as a Timbo partner?
Yes. The partnership is non-exclusive, so you can keep your existing ranges and add Timbo European oak alongside them.
Do I need to buy a container or hold large stock?
No. There are no container minimums. You order what a project needs from Timbo's Melbourne stock. If you want to hold showroom stock, talk to us about quantities.
